Maralunga 40 Maxi armchair is a laconic model in modern style, created by skilled craftsmen of the cult Italian factory Cassina using materials of exceptional quality. The design of the armchair was first developed in 1973 and for many years has earned the status of "absolute classic". The frame of the armchair is made of natural wood and fully upholstered with polyurethane foam (optional use of feather for padding the seat cushion). Natural leather of various shades, as well as fabric from the factory's own assortment is used as an external finish. A special mechanism resembling a bicycle chain raises and lowers ergonomic armrests and backrest. The series of the same name also includes two-seater and three-seater sofas, which together with the armchair can make a harmonious composition for a relaxation area in any home, office or public interior space.
