Design - Carlo Colombo The Koi double bed with upholstered headboard is a laconic model in contemporary style, a novelty for 2019, combining in its design modern production technologies and classic, pleasing to the eye forms. The outlandish name of the model is not accidental, in translation from Japanese it means "love". The bed design was developed by the cult Italian designer Carlo Colombo especially for Flou. The bed frame is made of wood, completely hidden under the upholstery (several finishes are available to order). The high upholstered headboard with polyurethane foam filling around the perimeter is decorated with a thin frame made of polished metal and vertical stitching in a minimalist style. The legs of the bed are also metal. Koi can be equipped with an electrically operated lifting mechanism. It can also be matched with a slatted base, mattress and bed linen, all made in-house by Flou.
